Acorn Tutors was set up to support students and parents as they navigate their way through the confusing world of education- from primary school, to university and beyond.
We are a family-run agency, operating across the Thames Valley, encompassing large areas of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire. As a small, local agency, we build close understandings with our clients and tutors and offer a personal service that anonymous national agencies are unable to. We take great care in matching clients with tutors, our aim being to provide successful and lasting learning relationships.
The proprietor is a class teacher, experienced in the classroom and as a private tutor. Unlike agencies run by non-teachers, we appreciate the difficulties students face on a day to day basis.
We place the student at the centre of our process, and their progression and development is fundamental to everything we do.
