Richmond Court Care Home prides itself on a person centred approach to the care needs of individuals, promoting independence, dignity and choice. In doing so, we aim to create a secure, relaxed, happy and homely atmosphere for residents and staff.
A holistic approach is adopted and is directed to the physical, mental ,emotional, social, cultural and spiritual needs.
Our home is situated in a pleasant area of Wolverhampton, close to the town centre and Bantock Park. It is also easily accessible by car and public transport.
We provide care for those who are elderly or have dementia ( Alzheimer’s)
The Home strives to provide residents with the opportunity to live a full and active life and to achieve their full potential. This is best achieved by sensitive recognition and nurturing of potential through regularly monitored and adapted individual care plans with input from the resident and significant others.
Therapeutic activity programmes encourage mental alertness, self-esteem, and social interaction with other residents.
Staff will respect personal rights and privacy, and will be responsive to individual needs. In support of our whole person care ethos, emotional and spiritual support is considered vital to the general well-being of each resident.
Our commitment to excellence in care is backed by appropriate administrative practices. The Home has a high degree of quality awareness developed through all levels of staff training and management. The aim of these measures is to continually improve the quality of the service offered to our clients.
We provide a stimulating activities programme in which residents are involved. The programme is continually amended to accommodate changing demands. Mobility, disabilities, skills, abilities, aims and choices are taken into account.
