- I create a personalised unique service for Weddings, Vow Renewals and Baby Naming Ceremonies. I can provide traditional services or services with a slight twist eg' handfasting, sand , candle ceremonies. Couples spend thousands of pounds creating the perfect look and feel for their wedding but don't give that much thought to the ceremony itself which is one of the most important occasions of their lives. I meet with the couple and find out relevant information in order to write the ceremony from beginning to end including their "love story". I then meet with them again before finalising the ceremony and attending a rehearsal at the venue. I am at the venue on the big day and will conduct it how they want it.
As a celebrant I don't have to conduct a ceremony on licensed premise s which makes the choice for the couple far greater.I can provide a ceremony anytime, any place, anywhere eg; garden, beach, beach hut, cliff top. I will actually have got to know the happy couple unlike a registrar who is booked for that day and reads from a script.
With Baby Naming, it's an alternative to standing in a Church five families deep on the first Sunday of the month for a Christening. A lot of parents want a more personal approach and many want a celebration in their own home. I can provide that . You can still have God Parents and I can still provide a certificate. Many people feel they have to go to a church to name their child but if you are not religious you can still have the same service but where you want it to take place. -
